| Purpose |
The Purpose of the web site is to inform, communicate and support the
Gardendale High School Rocket Band
- Inform - Content to provide Parents and community with information on Band activities and needs.
- Communicate - Site to be used as a vehicle for communication between parents and Band Boosters Assoc.
- Support – Site to help support Band activities such as performances and fund raisers events.
| Accountability |
- Under no circumstances will any content of the web site project a negative view or opinion toward any organization, company, association or person.
- Any material (content, photos etc) that could be considered offensive is prohibited.
- Gardendale High School and Bragg Middle School has the right to prohibit any web content that pertains to their school.
- Any political views, religious views or racial views are prohibited.
- Chat rooms are prohibited unless they are conducted by someone appointed by the Band Boosters.

- In the event any parent has concerns on any web content, regardless of any release signed, every effort will be made to resolve the issue.
| Web Site Content Guidelines |
- Student Names / Pictures – names and pictures are allowed but not both. Pictures may not have names associated with them. Large group pictures with names are allowed as long as the names are not ordered in a way that it allows the ability to associate the student’s picture with their name.
- Personal student information other than name is prohibited.
- Student Email addresses are prohibited.
- No personal comments are allowed unless approved by the GHS Band Booster Association and indicated so encapsulated with quotes with that person’s name beside it.
| Parent Account Information |
- Any and all Account information setup on GHS Band Web Site must be secure. Any web pages accessing account information must be done using https SSL encryption. Account information such as addresses and phone numbers should also be encrypted in the database if that database is offsite.
- Under no circumstances will GHS Band Site retain any personal account information such as Credit Card numbers.
- No email addresses or account information originating from this site will be shared with any other group or organization other than the Gardendale High School Band Boosters Association Officers.
